6 Mugs? Only 6

Saturday we started organizing our cabinets to determine which kitchen items would go to storage and which items would go to the townhome.  As we dug through each cabinet we ultimately ended up at the mug and glass cabinet.  I will preface by saying I have never been much of a collector, or at least I didn't think I was until Saturday morning...when we got to the mug cabinet.  I have always loved the perfect mug.  As an avid coffee drinker and someone who works from home I have always felt the need to pick the right mug for the day depending on my mood.  As we ruffled through the mug and glass cabinet I realized that I am a collector, a mug collector.  While having this mug epiphany, my thoughts were interrupted by JMS saying you are limited to only six mugs to bring to the townhome. 6!  Talk about tough decision as you can see I have many more mugs then six, and they all have special meaning!

I am very particular about what types of mugs I buy.  I am a Starbucks mug lover to be exact.  Only once in awhile will another non-Starbucks mug make the cut to the cabinet.  Long story short 45 minutes later these were the chosen mugs to make the journey to Delray.

In no particular favorite order I chose:

Nashville Starbucks mug because I love Nashville and I bought it on my first trip back there after John and I had started dating.

Anthropolgie Artichoke Mug is just pretty and one of the 2 non Starbucks mugs I own

Original Boston Starbucks mug is the first mug I ever bought  10 years ago

Jack Picture mug....special Christmas present needs no explanation why that made the cut first

Starbucks Flower Mug always puts me in a good mood, and is my favorite for tea

San Francisco Starbucks mug because that is one of my favorite vacations ever with John.

I may slip in a few more over the next couple of days as I don't know how 6 will suffice, or maybe I just need to add a few more to my collection over the next 6-12 months.  I even bought a new Houston Starbucks mug to keep at my office in Houston.  Cheers to a great mug!
