Disney Through Jack's Eyes

One of the things I love about being a mom is living life through Jack's eyes.  As we teach him words, and colors, and all kinds of wonderful things I find that we dummy down life in some ways.  The flower that I would typically hurriedly pass by in the madness of my day I find I stop with Jack and stare at it's beauty.  I ask him what it is, and what color the flower is, and ask him to repeat it, and say isn't that pretty.  It is so fun and I just love it.

Well a few weeks ago we went to Disney for the first time with Jack.  I haven't been to Disney in years so I already felt like a little kid on our way over to the park.  It was the best day.  So fun, so awesome, and Jack loved every second.   He danced with Woody (momma did too), was curious and attentive at all the shows, not shy with the characters, danced like a mad man in the water, and enjoyed the rides. He has been a little hesitant on Carousels the past few months but now has a sudden obsession with horses.  Obsessions also included trains and boats so we made sure to hit those up as well. He was even a super awesome sport when it completely down poured and we all got soaked.  It was such a fun day, and a reminder to me as to one of the many reasons why I love being mom is all of these wonderful experiences living life through our son's eyes.  I feel so blessed and appreciative for the opportunity to be Jack's mom.

I was totally feeling this conga line....little does Jack know he will be part of many more of these in his lifetime

The boys on the boat

I love how he claps

No luck on a family picture this day...at least one where Jack is looking

Pure Joy

Life's too short....jump in puddles

So sweet

Still going after a long day
